If you're conscientious about saving, you should be fine to install to the drive. The trade-off is longer loading times and long pauses when calling up the menu/map. Who do we have to tweet to make this happen?!Д®DIT: Do be warned that if you do play it, there's a chance your game can crash if you install it to the hard drive. I know it probably won't ever happen, but I think this game is a perfect fit for Nintendo's audience and would love to see this game given new life on the Switch. That said, when you play it, you can tell that the game was made with love and passion, and it definitely doesn't feel like a tech demo at all.

Not sure how it performed sales-wise, but it was basically a glorified tech demo for Silicon Studio's YEBIS engine, so even as a niche title, I can't imagine that they lost too much money on it. If you have a PS3, I'd highly recommend finding a copy. Here's a sample of what you can expect to hear.

Think of your average GBA game, like Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - some NES-sounding synth instruments combined with real-world samples - except in much higher quality. I actually won a contest with a character I modeled after Shantae! Also, the music is phenomenal.

I spent so many hours making and sharing characters. Heavily riffed on Zelda and Dragon Quest, but had a lot of fun references to other games, too. It had its quirks (many of which got ironed out in an eventual patch) and some frustrating design (looking at you, Fire Temple), but it was a great game that captured the spirit of the NES days. One of my favorite games of last generation.
